  2. Election of officers was taken
  3. Minutes from the January 8th meeting were reviewed and accepted.
  4. Minutes from the May 31st meeting were reviewed and accepted.
  5. The general body and the board of directors discussed the landscape proposals. Landscape Care was the contractor of choice. Keith recommended that the contractor must come twice a week to care for the development. The general body suggested we look into checking with the Register of Contractors to check on complaints. AAA Landscape is to be given 30-day notice to end contract!
  6. Discussion on Reserve Study Update was reviewed and motion was made to accept their services.
  7. Discussion on pigeon issues was addressed. Pigeons are a nuisance and very messy. A hand out was given to those that wanted the information from Burns Pest Elimination. Paul Krey was recommended in helping out with the troublesome birds. Also a request was made that the architectural committee will not get involved with options to keep the birds out providing it is not to noticeable from the street. Information will be mailed out in next newsletter with regards to tips.
  8. Open discussion:
    1. Is money provided to landscape corner of Wigwam & Litchfield Road?
      • No, Fulton Homes will take care of it as soon as it is released from ADEQ.
    2. Can we get restrooms at the park?
      • No, it is too costly, not practical and high maintenance.
    3. Can an awning be put over the playground equipment?
      • Will be put into consideration. A petition could help the cause!
    4. Vandalism is occurring!
      • Yes, but very low here compared to others.
    5. Violations need to be documented so they can be acted upon.
    6. 143rd Ave. & Piccadilly there is a two-story house with stucco house with calking marks on house and has been this way for two months. Will be addressed.
    7. There is a large bird that is a nuisance that starts making noise at 5 am in the morning. Peri will look into this matter.
